If youβre an adult (18 years or older) experiencing homelessness in the lower Eastern Shore area (Wicomico, Somerset, Worcester, Dorchester counties in MD or lower Delaware) and need a safe place to sleep and access to meals, showers, and basic support services, your FIRST STEP is to contact the Christian Shelter at 410-749-5673 or by coming to the shelter at 334 Barclay Street in Salisbury, MD.

The Steps to Success Transitional Living Program is open to women who meet the following eligibility criteria:
Women ages 18β62
Single, divorced, or legally separated
Up to three children ages 14 or under
Drug-free for at least one year
Demonstrated commitment to making positive changes and working toward personal goals
Referrals to the program are made through the Department of Social Services, emergency shelters, and other local community agencies.

Guests may call to find out if the Shelter is open or closed and if they have not been to the shelter yet this season, they must provide their full legal name and date of birth for registration.
Check-in time to arrive at the shelter on the nights that we are open is between 5-7 PM.
After 7 PM, guests must contact the OCPD for a police escort to the shelter.
Alternative Placement for Youth (APY) - Lead4Life
APY provides 1:1 mentoring services to youth who are experiencing a gap in housing 24 hours 7 days a week 365 days. APY referrals are from Department of Social Services.
