Help and Outreach Point of Entry (H.O.P.E.) Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to assisting individuals and families in Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset counties on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Since 1997, we have served the unsheltered community and low-income, at-risk individuals and families. Our programs are funded through a combination of grants, foundation support, and private donations, allowing us to offer resources to those in need. These financial contributions help sustain and expand our impact in the community.

The Schattner Foundation

The Schattner Foundation is a private charitable foundation established in 1992 by Dr. Robert I. Schattner, who leveraged his successful career to fund the foundation.


 

Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore

The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore is a 501c3 nonprofit with an inspiring history of fostering charitable endeavors and philanthropy. CFES provides millions in grants and scholarships to Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset Counties in Maryland each year.


 

Maryland Community Health Resources Commission

The Maryland Community Health Resources Commission (CHRC) was created by the Maryland General Assembly in 2005 to expand access to health care services in underserved communities in Maryland.


 

Henry schein cares foundation

The Henry Schein Cares Foundation was established in 2008 by Henry Schein, Inc., a company that has long fostered a rich culture of giving back to society and serving others. As a global public health advocate, the Henry Schein Cares Foundation engages all our stakeholders to partner with us in building a healthier world.


 

John B Parsons Foundation

The John B Parsons Foundation is a private foundation that primarily funds senior care, senior support, senior hospice care, prescriptions, meals on wheels, emergency services, disabled ramps, caregivers, alzheimer support, and adult medical daycare.


MARYLAND Department of Housing and Community Development

Homelessness Solutions Program (HSP). HSP funds, which include both Federal ESG and State funds, are granted directly to CoC Collaborative Applicant/Lead Agencies each year.

 

Wicomico Partnership for families and children

 Wicomico Partnership for Families and Children identifies priorities and target resources for our local community. The major focus is to increase local authority to plan, implement, and monitor children and family services.  They serve as the coordinator of collaboration for child and family services. They bring together local child-serving agencies, local child providers, clients of services, families, and other community representatives to empower local stakeholders in addressing the needs of and setting priorities for our community. 

 

Walmart Spark Good

Walmart Spark Good brings together all of Walmart and Sam’s Club’s community giving programs under one brand and puts customers and associates in the driver’s seat, making it easier to give to the causes they care most about. Spark Good includes programs like local grants, round up, registry, storefront reservation tool and associate giving and volunteerism.
