Faith Partners
Our faith-based partners provide spiritual and moral support, helping to uplift and encourage individuals on their journey to stability. Their contributions go beyond financial support, offering hope and a sense of community to those we serve
Joseph House
The Joseph House Crisis Center has four departments:
Financial Assistance for evictions, utility cut-offs, health care bills, and other vital needs.
Food Pantry that distributes supplemental bags of groceries to families and individuals in need.
Dining Room serving a hot lunch that is available for anyone. A dozen churches in the Salisbury area take turns preparing and serving the meals.
Hospitality Room for the Homeless, a day shelter for homeless men and women where they can receive food and clothing, take a shower, and have clothes laundered.
Village of Hope provides shelter and life training for homeless women and their children.
The Joseph House Workshop is a residential program for homeless men that teaches life-skills needed for employment.
Good Neighbor volunteers help people who are homebound with bathing, household tasks, and errands.
A Representative Payee helps people manage their money. This program matches volunteers skilled in budgeting with people who are unstable financially due to their limited knowledge or abilities.
St. Alban’s Episcopal Church
St. Alban's is the church family of our director, and in a wonderful show of support for our mission, they recently honored H.O.P.E. with a generous donation from their annual fall fundraiser. These funds will directly support our vital documents program and help provide much-needed supplies for our unsheltered guests.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rod and Pat Layton for their ongoing generosity. Each week, they donate fresh fruit for our lunch program, ensuring our guests have access to nutritious, seasonal produce that supports their health and well-being.
Wicomico Presbyterian Church
This incredible congregation has been a steadfast supporter of Help and Outreach Point of Entry, Inc., playing a vital role in helping us serve the most vulnerable members of our community. Through hosting our program, providing generous funding, and organizing donations, their partnership has enabled us to extend hope and resources to those who need it most.
Wicomico Presbyterian Church has a long-standing commitment to outreach and community care, reflecting their mission to "serve others as Christ served." Their dedication to supporting programs like ours is a testament to their faith in action, and we are deeply grateful for their partnership.
Christ’s Church
Christ’s Church has been a dedicated partner since 2011. Christ’s Church of Salisbury is a faith-driven community dedicated to serving others through worship, outreach, and support programs that uplift individuals and families in need. Their commitment to spreading love and faith aligns perfectly with HOPE Inc.’s mission to provide critical resources and assistance to those facing hardship. Through shared values of compassion and service, this partnership strengthens our collective ability to bring hope, healing, and tangible support to the Salisbury community, ensuring that no one has to face their challenges alone. Together, we are building a stronger, more caring community where faith and action go hand in hand.
